Laying pattern 9x4 or 8x4+4?
The Lenormand cards lend themselves to all sorts of readings. Even a single card can provide you with a wealth of clues to your question.
Do you have a very specific question or would you like information on a specific topic,
then a small layout with a few cards drawn is best.
She is precise and quite accurate.
But here I will tell you something about the layout patterns of the Large Table in Lenormand.

It's a matter of taste
Each laying pattern has its advantages.
It's best to try both.
For example, I lay the patterns alternately.
My preference for a particular layout simply changes sometimes. And sometimes, depending on how they feel, I let the client choose the pattern.
Both layouts represent houses 1 - 36,
and carry the themes of the areas of life
the 36 Lenormand cards.
You only notice the real difference when you work with techniques to interpret the Great Tablet even more deeply.
-
9 x 4
With the 9 x 4 layout, you lay out 9 cards in 4 rows. This pattern is very orderly. The entire deck appears to be clearly framed. Techniques such as mirroring and corresponding are clear and easy to perform. If you are familiar with numerology, the 9 x 4 pattern may be more suitable for you.
The 9 basic numbers are shown in a row and it is easier to get into numerological interpretation. -
8 x 4 + 4
With the 8x4+4 layout you place 8 cards in 4 rows.
With a deck of 36 cards, there are 4 cards left over.
You place these in the middle of the 5th row. These four cards make interpreting the board a little more complex. The advantage is that the houses of the two main cards, the King and Queen,
in the middle of the page. This allows for greater scope for interpretation of the two main characters' areas of life. However, if you would like to apply the techniques here
and include these 4 lower cards, you will need to take additional steps to include the cards.

These 4 cards...
...can leave you a bit perplexed.
How do you interpret these?
There are many ways of looking at this position.
Some say they represent the quintessence of the hand. In other words, these four cards, interpreted in combination,
provide an underlying statement about the card being laid out. They are thus given important meaning. I can empathize with this,
since these 4 house places do not speak of unimportant areas of life.
Another interpretation is that the cards in these four positions represent events in the coming weeks. Although I'm quite cautious about giving specific dates, this has proven to be quite helpful in my readings.
