The Energy in Card Reading
The information we receive when reading cards comes from other dimensions.
There is a higher vibration there than on our plane. I have noticed
that information flows more easily, meaning our intuition works better,
if we slightly increase the vibration during card reading. You can most easily increase your own vibration and that in your home by anything that you personally find positive.
Anything that enhances your well-being.
Smoking
No matter which spiritual ceremony you look at, incense burning plays a role in almost every culture.
It is usually used for cleansing:
The rising smoke purifies the environment and creates space for new energies. If it feels right for you, you can also cleanse every new deck of cards with smoke before the first use. Hold it over the smoke and shuffle the cards so that they connect with your own energy. Remember: A deck of cards is exposed to many impressions on its way to you – from the producer to warehouses to the postman. Particularly sensitive people can clearly feel these foreign energies. Incense burning helps to cleanse the deck and attune it to you.
The incense itself also carries a special effect.
Whether medicinal herbs, resins, woods, or mixtures – each plant possesses its own energy and thus its very own intention.
Sounds
Sounds and tones increase vibrations – both in a space and within us. From deep drum beats to bright bell chimes: every frequency has its own effect. Chants and spoken words also possess great power. It's no coincidence that singing is used in spiritual ceremonies in almost all cultures. Or consider the powerful mantras in Hinduism and Buddhism.
Before your card reading, you can ring a singing bowl or a similar instrument. Immediately, the environment will feel lighter and freer. Disruptive, low-vibrational energies find it difficult to withstand high tones –
they quickly dissipate.
There are already several scientific studies on the effects of sounds. While more is observed than truly researched so far, the results clearly show: In this area, we are already further along than with many other methods of vibration enhancement.
Gemstones
The vibrations of some gemstones can even be measured with physical instruments. Particularly quartz varieties such as rock crystal, amethyst, citrine, and the mineral tourmaline possess piezoelectric properties and are therefore often incorporated into everyday objects. Just think of a clock: the vibration of the built-in quartz makes extremely precise timekeeping possible. Although a concrete effect of gemstones on humans and their surroundings has not been scientifically proven, they have been used for this very purpose for centuries. Whether it is actually their frequency that influences our well-being, or simply their beauty – for me, the result is what matters: If the presence of crystals lifts your mood, consciously use them when reading cards. I myself also like to keep my card decks and oracle dice near crystals and stones.
