The Reiki Arcanum
Even if you're familiar with the Tarot and its Major Arcana, the Reiki Arcnum is a deck that requires some explanation. That's why I wrote a blog post about it.
The deck's 23 cards are based on the trumps of the Tarot, and you can use them like any other Major Arcana. However, the Tarot theme only forms the foundation. What makes this deck so special are the images of the individual trumps. And I'll digress a bit about those now...

Images affect our subconscious
Do you know this Rorschach test?
You've often heard about it in movies too.
A psychiatrist or therapist has the patient look at pictures and asks him: What do you see first in the picture?
The patient says what he perceives at first glance, and the therapist uses this to draw conclusions about his unconscious mental life.

Encaustic pictures
These tests were the first things that came to mind when I looked at Ramona Gratschner's encaustic paintings. Each of the paintings represents something at first glance. You immediately recognize a pattern structure and a color theme. The paintings also immediately convey a mood.
But there's more to them. That's why Ramona and I turned them into a tarot card deck. It was a natural choice, since Ramona has a tremendous knowledge of the tarot and, when painting the encaustic images, she intended to depict the trump cards of the tarot. And since Ramona is a Reiki master, she naturally allows the energies to flow when painting her encaustic images.
You can find out more about Ramona and her enchanting pictures in this blog.

The thing about the subconscious...
We all carry various emotions with us every day. These don't always have to do with current events. Our subconscious tends to store the unpleasant things. Many of them we never properly process.
before we shifted them from our conscious mind to our subconscious in our everyday lives. No time… everyday stress… to-do lists… obligations…
Sometimes the experiences are simply too bad. And so we suppress them. Because, for various reasons, we are unable to deal with them at that moment.

Consciously look at repressed things through cards
If you enjoy and are interested in oracle methods, you may also like to use cards or similar devices for these insights. For example: I feel so insecure today, what could be the reason? I draw a card and compare the card's meaning with my feelings. I receive an impulse, an idea. The oracle card triggers a stimulus, and my subconscious pushes the corresponding situation into my conscious mind. I think about it again. In doing so, I categorize and process my repressed experience to some extent.

The Reiki Arcanum boosts it
The card images of the Reiki Arcanum behave similarly to the Rorschach test shown above.
You ask a question, draw a card, and look at the picture. You enter mindfulness.
What does the image do to me? Does it stir up emotions? Or is my subconscious pushing past situations into my conscious mind?
Notice even the smallest patterns in the image.
Do you recognize shapes, figures, animals?
These can, of course, be deciphered quite easily, just like with dream interpretation. Simply use the internet for this. For example, do you see a monkey in the picture? Then enter "monkey dream symbol" or "monkey spirit animal" into the search bar... and you'll see countless clues that will bring you closer to the message of your subconscious.
On each card of the Reiki Arcanum
A Japanese torii is depicted.
It represents the threshold
from the earthly to the spiritual world.
With the spiritual step through the Torii
you open yourself to the possibility
to meet your subconscious.

On the cards you will see small symbols in the top right corner. They represent the element, the zodiac sign,
the planets and the numerological assignment.
The booklet tells you what all this has to do with your question.
I would like to mention one special help in the booklet:
In the booklet you will find the corresponding period or moment in life for each card you draw.
Ramona Gratschner assigns the Tarot trumps to phases of our lives, such as infancy or moments of isolation.
This can be very helpful as it shows you when your topic was created.
